Job Title: Business Development Executive

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth and expand our client base for our listing portal platform. As part of the business development team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and increasing the market penetration of our listing services. You will be responsible for generating leads, closing deals, and establishing long-term partnerships with businesses looking to list their services, products, or properties on our portal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    Identify and research potential businesses (Kids care service providers, Kids related retailers, Kids Events etc.) that would benefit from listing their products, services, or properties on our platform. Utilize cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking to generate new leads.
  • Client Engagement:
    Initiate and develop relationships with prospective clients through meetings, calls, demos, and presentations. Understand clients’ needs and propose tailored solutions based on our portal’s features and capabilities.
  • Sales Pitch & Presentations:
    Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, presentations, and product demos to prospects. Showcase the value of our platform and how it can enhance clients’ online visibility and business growth.
  • Negotiation & Closing Deals:
    Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service agreements with new clients. Work to close deals and onboard clients to the platform while ensuring that they are satisfied with the terms and features offered.
  • Account Management:
    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by offering post-sales support and ensuring their listings meet their business objectives. Provide feedback to the product team based on client needs and pain points.
  • Market Research:
    Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to continuously refine and improve sales strategies. Identify new industry verticals and untapped markets for expansion.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with the marketing and customer support teams to align efforts, develop promotional campaigns, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
  • Sales Reporting:
    Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities, leads, opportunities, and conversions. Provide regular updates on sales progress, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education:
    Prefreed Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within digital platforms, online marketplaces, or listing portals. Experience in the real estate, e-commerce, or service listing industry is a plus.
  • Sales Skills:
    Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs. Strong negotiation, communication, and persuasion skills.
  • Tech-Savvy:
    Comfortable with online platforms, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with web-based listing portals is a plus.
  • Analytical Thinking:
    Ability to analyze market trends, identify client needs, and propose effective solutions. Capable of using data to drive decision-making.
  • Relationship Building:
    Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to engage with senior decision-makers and establish long-term client partnerships.
  • Self-Motivated & Target-Oriented:
    Strong drive to achieve targets and goals independently while working as part of a team. High energy, self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Creative in finding solutions to client challenges and able to overcome objections effectively.
  • Driving Licens:
    Preferred Qatar Driving License

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in SaaS sales or online platform sales.
  • Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and e-commerce trends.
  • Ability to speak Fluent English but Arabic speaking would be added value (particularly for regional business development).
